What a sensational finish to a great game!

Really good game minus the last 3 minutes when Kidd decided to punish us with Maxi instead of DJJ who played well all game...

Just quickly... we won this because of one thing despite a poor shooting game - playing big and rebounding. 59 to 37 rebounds against the Nuggets of all teams. A season best 21 offensive boards. And a ton of effort.

I hope somehow neither Maxi or THJ are Mavs next season, but THJ has 1 more season and Maxi has 2. Hopefully they're traded but why would a team even want them?

They're both fine deep down the roster players but have no business closing a clutch game against the defending champions.

Kidd has proven neither one are just going to be players sitting on the bench. The only way to fix it is to get rid of those toys from him or get rid of him. I prefer both actually.

Mavs won 7 in a row then lost 5 out of 6 now have won 5 out of 6. Very streaky team.

We've eclipsed our win total from last year (39 to 38)

We won this game with no player hitting a 3 except Luka and Kyrie. If you said that pre TDL, I would have thought we would have gotten blown out by 20+.

Maxi has scored 11 points in his last 160 minutes.

I remeber how physically imposing the Nuggets were in the 1st game, Mavs have come a long way.
PJ played the 3 and Luka the 2 for a short stretch.

Thank you Ky!! This takes some of that sting away from Strus' game winner, that one hurt.

No Josh, no problem. The team is better without elementary school basketball iq

Man how much better could we be if PJ was shooting even slightly below average?

Is this a game that showcases we don't miss Green much?

If you enjoy Maxi getting switched on Murray and exposed every trip down the floor then sure.

I rewatched the last two possessions. At least Maxi made decent inbounding plays. Green would have turned the ball over with his basketball iq.

He would've hit that wide open 3 though that Maxi airballed. I know you are obsessed with hating JG but he is a quality asset to the team and would've been good to have - to that point for example at least he hits 3s at 42% and regularly hits clutch 3s.
To give Kidd some credit he actually played a huge lineup most of the game. At some point we had Ky - Luka - PJ - Maxi - Gaff/Lively out there.

Yes we are all obsessed with disliking (not hating) subpar players such as THJ Green Maxi.

No, I think besides you and daoneandonly nobody here is.

Also THJ is 32, Maxi is 32 - JG is 23. Slightly different parts of their careers and 2 are getting worse and one is improving.
