My hope is they don't out of the extended break all lackadaisical. They have a tendency to do this. Got to keep their foot on the gas pedal and continue to play like every game matters because it does.

Take a huge lead in the first quarter and finish the game with Powell on the court.

This game starts a 5 game road trip.

We need to win this game and then at least split with the Kings after that. Kings only have 4 more road games we have 8. We also have another b2b that is both on the road, pretty brutal. However the strength of our opponents overall is pretty poor so we need to win.

Jazz have lost 16 of their last 19 and are very clearly tanking to keep their pick. Dunn is suspended and I imagine Markkanen and Clarkson will sit this one out. Assuming everything goes according to plan, I imagine the Mavs will try to blow them out fast and rest the starters in the 4th.

Kings game is b2b, and then we will need to travel from Sacramento to Houston and then back to the SF. Poor scheduling due to things that happened during the season.

That being said Mavs rested well lately. The games are not too tough with 2 Utah game. Luka had been under heavy load but moving alright so I am not concerned too much. Kyrie is still healthy which is a big positive considering what you'd expect from him on average season. Hope PJ's shot will come back in next weeks.

1-Stay healthy
2-Get 5th/6th seed

The two Kings games are not B2b, we play Utah tonight then @Sacramento tomorrow night which is the b2b, then have two days off then @Sacramento again Friday. Ridiculous.

Sabonis is a Mavs killer BUT he hasnt seen the 2 headed Center Gaff / Lively yet. Can't let Sabonis manhandle us or Mavs will be in trouble.

Sabonis is a Powell/Kleber killer... We will see what happens against 2 real center.
