Or maybe it's just a bad perception, but I felt he was more passive than usual and deferred too much - it felt he clearly was tired. Just felt like the Mavs were a step too slow almost all game and still could/should have won.

Definitely missed Lively's energy.

It was 92-92 with 4:28 left. The Mavs only scored again in the final minute.

Reviewing the shots:

- PJ Washington wide open floater

- Kyrie open 3

- Luka open 3

- PJ Washington corner 3

All good shots. Missed. The Warriors had 2 goal tends... really ugly way to lose the game, with Curry scoring only 13 points.

The real ugly was Draymond blocked Gafford and we got to see his mouth multiple times on tv in this style:

Did anyone pay attention who was guarding Curry most of the time last night? Also, who was guarding Moody most of the time?

3 players that combined added up to 44 minutes on the court couldn't score a single point. If they could have scored 5 between them we win the game.

I'm shocked the refs missed the traveling call on klay. But you can see we missed Lively last night. Powell and Maxi can't give us what Lively does. But it was a nice winning 7 games in a row. Got a tough back to back thursday and friday with the Rockets then GS again.THJ played 26 mins Hardy 8 mins which I dont understand at all. Right now Hardy brings more to the team then THJ.

This was a game that makes you an MVP. I thought Luka had too much fun last game vs the rockets and brought that same mentality into this game early on. Luka's biggest issue is his defense at times and his leadership. His defense game to game has got more consistent. I would say he's a decent to good defender even though I thought he regressed somewhat vs the Warriors last night when smaller guys scored on him and he didn't challenge enough. My biggest issue with Luka though is his leadership. In a game like this (very winnable) this is where he can separates himself as the top dog in the league. I didn't see that. There comes a time where he has to say give me a ball and get out of my way. This was a game where I think Luka could have stepped up as a leader and slowed the ball down and got his troops in order. I think that's an area he still has to improve on. The numbers look good but you have to know how to win certain games. The Warriors brought a playoff mentality this game (their playing for their lives) and the Mavs played like the regular season. Obviously, I'm being hard on Luka here but if this team is gonna reach that next level - the leader has to LEAD in games like this.

Note: I also dont believe Kidd pushed the right buttons in this game.

THJ - Kleber - Powell at the same time

Or THJ, Kyrie and Hardy at the same time at the end of the 3rd.

With better rotations from Kidd (and some time outs at the right time) this is probably a win.

Kidd needs 2/3 games to understand how to rotate the guys without Lively, he is sloooooooooow.
We know. He is Jason Kidd.
