After last night approach of the game by our guys and the totally absence of Kidd preparation at this series?

Even Cuban doesn't bet on Mavs W in game 2 honestly. The situation was really embarassing.

It won't happen again, the team hasn't played meaningful minutes in a few weeks. It's not that I'm trying to give Kidd a pass I'm saying the players will be ready. 67 points told me that. Forget that half it was a fluke. We're gonna win Game 2.

I hate Kidd as a Coach but if Luka is going to come out not ready and playing terrible is that really coaching or just Luka not doing what he's supposed to do? I put it on Luka. But as a fan of Luka I do not see him coming out and doing it again in Game 2. If I'm wrong well Mavs will probably lose the series.

Yes you are right Bob but even washed Carlisle (who Lost by 20 from the Bucks without Giannis. OMG) understand how to figure out Zubac from the game... Kidd is just hopeless like a coach.

Just a famous poster here can support him

Oh man, who can support Jason Kidd as coach?

But yea, what a pathetic performance form this team. Zero excuse, they were well rested and the Clipps were missing their best player. I'm glad I had a worship concert I went to and missed most of this sorry game.

The only person that has an excuse for a bad game si Lively. He is mourning right now and going through a lot of pain, not to mention a rookie. The rest of the guys, come on now.

You can immagine who he is, i don't want to be banned...

Luka looked like a wet puppy for the entire game and at the press conference after the game, i've never seen him like this.

I hope he will find his balls before game 2 otherwise this series is over.

What do you think is wrong with Luka? Do you think he has a mental block against the Clippers? He had a defeated look about him. Is there something going on that we don't know about?

I don't think so, he was a beast in past series against them... And they were dirty all games of the series.

His attitude last night remember me the PO series against GS. He looked with no faith, lost.
Terrible impression for me.

According to Skip Bayless who rightly said Kawhi would miss Game 1, Kawhi plans to play in Game 2.

I think game 1 bought him time, I doubt he'll be back for this one.

I don't know the W/L record but don't the Mavs like suck ass hard in early games? Like one of the worst teams in the league?

They have to be. I am from Europe and usually watch these early games live. And 100% they suck in these

Good news for Mavs. This team just loves to downplay competition when best guys are sitting out, it's basically a tradition by now. I know they'll probably take the game way more seriously now but i still have my doubts. I'm also sure Kawhi with his knee would actually hurt LAC more than help.

I love Luka and he is the main reason for my insomnia during the season, of course anyone can have a bad game, but he seemed out of shape again, fat and with terrible body language, making a fuss of his teammates and being a hole defensively...it's time to grow up, I trust that this will be a turning point and he will turn it around...he can do it for sure

Agree.

I'm sick and tired to listen his post game interviews where he said the same things every time ("It's my fault" ) and no change.

It's time to grow up for real Luka or Devin Booker status is under the corner.

We feel good just to have some bodies at wing defense and rim protector centers. However, Denver is on another level.

They have much better defensive specialists then us.
- Aaron Gordon is like S.Marion. The way he defends Lebron...
- KPJ is an elite defender that can defend 1-3 positions.

On top of that they have reliable 3pt shooters. They trust KPJ, MPJ at the wing while Gordon is a lob, backdoor cut thread.
- We are hoping one of Exum, DJJ, Green can play as good as KPJ.
- Also hope for Maxi-PJ to replicate the defensive, rebounding and offensive production of MPJ-Gordon duo. Different level of athleticism, height-wingspan

We are way better than the nuggets now. I expect we would win that series in 6 and I'll be proved right in a few weeks
