Before the trade deadline this team gets shalacked. Heck any Luka team before the trade deadline since he was a rookie gets beaten down. He finally has a real team, still needs a better 3rd scorer to be real contenders though. Notice though Washington gave us 18 and we win by 3 points. If he didn't show up we lose.

How can we activate Gafford is the key in the rest of the series. Otherwise we can't rely on luck to win like tonight.

I’m guessing Gafford gets another start, but Maxi outplayed him.

Good to see PJ finding his shot late.

Gafford's been terrible but I just think once we get home he'll play better.

Give it up for Luka on his man to man defense in the series so far. His defense is way better when he playing physical. He is strong and it’s been very effective. Give than man flowers. I’m only talking his man to man defense lol

PJ Washington came up huge offensively in the 4th after some bad misses, Luka's defense was amazing, the whole team defense was amazing, Clippers couldn't get anything going, they started attacking Luka and he stopped everything except that failed communication on the Harden 3.
Don't underestimate this, Clippers are wily vets who have been to numerous battles, and Mavs still were able to close them.
Kawhi looked great defensively, but his jumper was short, Mavs got a break here.

His defense was really good today, except that weird sequence at the end where DJJ and him didn't switch and left Harden wide open.

Give credit to Kyrie too. His defense was great and he even took the challenge of guarding Harden a lot.

Pretty good win!
Props to Luka Kyrie PJ Maxi and all the team, coaching Kidd etc.

Nice way to show character.

I didnt like the way refs allowing foul defense. Even WB is able to stay in the game when they do this. Also WB deserved two technical fouls in last two minutes.
Fouling Luka then hitting his hand after the whistle is a bitch move.
Then pushing PJ isnt a basketball move at all.
Refs enabling this **** is ridiculous.

Washington finally showed up to the party with 18 in this one and had 11 in the first one. So he's had 29 of the 70. That leaves 41 points through two games for everyone else.

Maxi and PJ dominated this 4th quarter, they came up huge, everyone was great on defense all game, offensively, it's been rough on everyone except PJ in the 4th.
