Someone will have to explain to me why Devin only got 24 minutes.

Combination of foul trouble in the 3rd and Terry playing well. Terry and the crew on the floor (Bass, Dirk, Stack, Howard) were kicking arse allowing Avery not to have to gamble. However, if they were struggling against the pussycats, he would have played more.

terry as our 4th best player is good news for us mavs fan! he's a streaky shooter and his defense is suspect, so I think that if he adjusts to coming off the bench, then he can be quite productive for us in terms of instant offense.

Our hopes this year rely of course on Dirk and Josh, but equally important IMO, the continued improvement of DHarris.

the schedule makers hooked you guys up this year. this game was the 3rd road game in 4 nights, while you have 3 days off in between home games... c'mon now. the next game is another on the 3rd game in 4 nights, and the final match-up is the 4th game in 5 days. somethings wrong if you don't sweep the series this year.

Good win for the Mavericks, I must say nothing felt better than whooping these guys tonight. I live in the Bay Area and get so much heat for being a Mavericks fan. Haha, nice to see Dirk get around and do his thing, Bass to be effective, Dampier to produce, and Harris contribute in limited minutes.

LOL.

No, that's not me. I haven't been to a GSW/Mavericks game since Nash was there. I think I'm going to the March 30th game though.

WE BELIEVE!
Ah yes, finally a whooping. Dallas hands the warriors a nice comupins.
These warriors didn't come out to play. Definitely a statement game. Josh, Stack with the chips on their shoulders and the warriors received a Bass slappin. I love it when Stack tells it like it is and then backs it up.
Still don't really know whats going on with Diop, Hassel.
Good game, I would say this was the best win all season,,,,,so far.

Golden State lays the Golden Egg.

Nowitzki threw two straight shots back into Jackson's face in the fourth quarter, then rebounded a third miss by Baron Davis. In one brief possession, Nowitzki sealed an emotionally charged 121-99 victory over the Warriors at American Airlines Center.

The Mavericks' 121-99 win over the Warriors was the game people expected to see in the playoffs and never got. It shows what would have been if the Mavericks hadn't buckled under the weight of their own expectations and matched the intensity of Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson instead of backing down.

Dirk Nowitzki got something Wednesday night he could have used against the Warriors back in April. He got big-time help from his buddies.

A local NBA writer asked Nellie during Wednesday morning's shootaround at the AAC if he'd received thank-you cards from other coaches in the league during the off-season for showing everyone how to defend Dirk Nowitzki.

"Shame on you," Nellie retorted, but he could barely suppress a grin.

"He exorcised some of his demons," Jerry Stackhouse said. "It's something that needed to be done."

What accounted for the late-game fizzle?

"The fact that I thought today was Tuesday," Davis joked. "I'm a day late."

It's more like a year late when it comes to the rivalry between the Warriors and Mavs. The Warriors have dropped two straight to Dallas after sweeping the regular-season series in 2006-07 and pulling off their 4-2 playoffs-series stunner.

"Two-and-one is a great trip the way I look at it," Baron Davis said. "If you look at our schedule and the team's we've been playing and the amount of games and the type of games, especially with our style of play - and especially the way we started (the season) - we're ahead of schedule."

Warrior fan here....The small lineup stuff in Warrior land is getting old for the Warrior fans....Pietrus at center?! Come on.....

Thanks for beating the he!! out of us...Maybe Nelson will stop messing with the Warriors starting lineup....ugh....

BTW....Dirk is a favorite of mine....Mavs as well....I hope they have a nice run at the title (of course unless we end up playing you guys again in the playoffs)

Great game for the Mavs... I didnt see this coming at all... Nobody on the team had a bad night really... Kinda upset that we didnt get to play against Cro at all... We wouldve won by 30 had that happened, but it was nice to see Mbenga.
