Mavs Vs. Heat

Post#1 » by mavsfoty » Fri Jan 4, 2008 8:50 pm

Like last game we all know what this game means.

Your Dallas Mavericks (21-11)
2nd in the Southwest Division and 3rd in the West

Probable Starting Five:

Key Reserves:

Again like last game they need no introduction. We all know them and we loathe them.

The Miami Heat (8-24)
5th in the Southeast Division and 15th in the East

GO MAVERICKS!!

Mavs favored to win by 15 points. We should win this easily with considering all the Miami injuries.

Here's to a Dallas win. The Heat roster needs an overhaul and this is a lost season with all the injuries and lack of talent the team has. Good luck and hopefully no injuries for either team.

Miami will continue to have a bright future with the cap space over the next couple years. It won't take Miami to get back into their contender ways.

Can you imagine if the Heat could dump Shaq for an expiring contract (hint: KVH)? They could have Wade, Haslem, a high lottery pick, and all the FAs $20M can buy. That's a good start.

Shaq may have his statement game today. Statement being, please bring me to Dallas, I still have some spring in these legs; look I'll show ya!

Shaq for KVH....too much cost. Shaq is not woth $40 mil when he plays just over half a season and at 25 MPG.

The funny thing about a KVH for Shaq trade is that KVH was probably the most over paid player when he had his huge ass contract and was actually playing and if this were to happen, he'd be getting paid for nothing.

Eh, I doubt Cuban would pay the luxury tax on Shaq for a couple of years, despite the upgrade, so I don't think it'll happen.

No D-Wade tonight.

Bum shoulder is keeping him out.
