Oops, I knew this was gonna happen sometime!

I'll kill my series thread, bigboy.

No Kip Wells in this series, I like. GO CARDS

What did you make a series thread too?

Sucks for you because mine is better!

Ok, to actually talk about the series, I'm kind of disappointed in the Reds. I was hoping to see Homer Bailey pitch, but he pitches one day after our series on Friday. Oh well I guess it's better for the Cards that we don't have to see him. I think the Reds have the pitching advantage in the 1st 2 games. But it'll be nice to see how Wellemeyer does in his 2nd start.

Wainwright has been good his past 3 outings and 5 out of 6 last outings. So things are definitely looking better for him. So for now he'll be taking the place of old "Reyes weekly win prediction."

Reds draw first blood (Gary Bennett), but we win.

Didn't expect to see the name Kelly Stinnett in the lineup so soon. Hope Gary is okay.

We got Stinnett for Cash Considerations. I didn't even know we had Cash in our farm system.

And how many times has Cash been traded by now? His value must be dropping, if all he's worth is a dude who quit baseball two weeks ago but naturally could not resist the irresistible allure of playing for the World Champions.

On TV they showed Bennett watching from the dugout in the late innings and perhaps looking like he was OK, I mean his eyes weren't crossed or anything. Hopefully he is back in the lineup today.

Wellemeyer did not make a very good case for staying in the starting rotation long-term. He was very lucky to get away with so many walks last night.

Whenever you can come away with a win when Wellemeyer walks like 6 batters and loads the bases on walks in the 3rd you have to be thrilled.

Also, when ever Randy Flores comes in I cringe.

Another win!

I am starting to like the Cardinals' offense again.

Good to see Albert coming through. Back over .290 again. Got to have him get over .300 and stay there.

I finally get to watch a Cards game on TV and we go down with barely a whimper. Darn. :(
