Elijah Dukes was optioned to the minors, but was given time off.

I hate to see it...with his upside and all......but

This looks to be another Josh Hamilton all over again, the only difference is that Hamilton realized his problems & struggled to overcome them, while Dukes seems to be ignorant & resistant to advice.

The saga continues.

Dukes admits in front of a judge that he smokes pot at his hearing yesterday.

This guy is a complete dumb ass.

I fear we've waited to long to move Dukes for any type of compensation. Our only hope now is that he can reign in his demons & turn into a productive ball player :roll:

I was hoping that the Rays would hang onto him.

But, the longer he has exposure to the media, the worse he appears.

Dukes has issues beyond just immaturity.

You're right, his value has shrunk to nil at this point.
