I think CC would be an excellent pickup for us. We have the farm system to deal for him and not thin out the system, so that wouldn't be the issue. I think he would be great for the rotation. Then if he doesn't resign we can offer arbitration (which he would decline) and then we receive the picks. I say we include Brignac and Wade Davis, and maybe a lower prospect to get the deal done. This is one scenario where I like the rent a player idea.

If this season continues at it's current pace, the Rays will have to do something with the back end of the rotation if performances don't improve ( Sonnanstine and Jackson).

Sabathia definitely needs a change of scenery, and Cleveland looks to be going nowhere.
