Adrian Beltre is seeking a three-year deal in extension talks with the Texas Rangers.

Beltre, 36, is also hoping to earn more annually than Pablo Sandoval received from the Boston Red Sox prior to the 2015 season.

He is already guaranteed $18 million for the 2016 season.
