This is what I want rangers to blow their minor league assets on, and concentrate their effortson. A proven number 1, power pitching lefty. I was sitting behind the plate when he spun his two hitter, and he was dominant. I am all for growing your minors. But when the opportunity arises to get a unique player that your team needs, you get in the game and go get him..

not that big a surprise we've never been mentioned as a possibility for him, i wouldnt be shocked to see seattle get him and they still flop next year

I hope that Daniels is in the middle of all of this Bedard ruckus and lack of closing, making the deal that the Rangers need for the staff ace. Maybe Nolan has told Hicks the value of a staff ace.
