The best catcher in the history of the franchise and one of the top in the history of the game is coming back to the Rangers. Sources have confirmed that the Rangers have all but completed a trade with Houston for Ivan Rodriguez, who was the catcher the last time the Rangers went to the playoffs in 1999.

Rodriguez is making $1.5 million this season. He is batting .251 with 8 homers and 34 RBIs. We'll get you details as soon as we have them.

He is sitting on the bench right now, thrilled to be out of that toilet known as Houston.

Hasnt this year been such fun. I love to tune in these games to watch the pitching, something I have never done as a fan of rangers ever. Did it many times in Atl when I loved there and was a season ticx holder. Such a blast. Pudge only makes it better.
