Its gota be Biggios year. Making those pitchers eat up pitches at the plate is night and day imo.

Great win. Nice showing from the road Jays fans as well.

Good to see a lot of the main guys contributing early and hopefully they can continue that focus going forward.

The non-Chapman era starting off well as expected

Great game. Everybody contributed and it looked like the team was having fun while mashing pitches.

Berrios was great.

Onto game 2.

IKF providing the offensive output I expected. Hopefully his playing time is minimized.

Good to see Biggio start off well. He's due for a healthy season and the good results he's capable of.

I don't think Varsho lasts long in the #5 hole, but how knows.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

He performed well. Glad they let him complete 6 Innings, unlike his last Start in Game 2 of the WC Series when he got pulled foolishly after 3 Innings.

Absolutely no reason we couldn’t have thrown Pearson in the 9th and saved Mayza’s arm with all the upcoming games.

That was a weird one especially with such little depth in the pen with the injuries. Why not Cabrera even?

I remember Springer had a 5 hit man last season opener and I got really excited and then he fell off a cliff

Tbf Springer had a bunch of weird bloop hits iirc. I'm a lot more excited seeing him hit a no doubters than any of the 5 hits from last yr.

Both of those were between 5-6 inches off the plate dog lmfao. They didnt even start as strikes, its cool I'm sure Bassitt will get a similar strike zone /s.
