Yup.. he's a mighty fine RP!

He had a 3.38 ERA before today's game. You're unknowingly posting his stats after today's game (which, again, consisted of a slow hit GB to 2nd base and a 345 foot flyball that wouldn't have been a HR in the majority of parks in MLB).

Yes, he's a fine RP.

You're wrong again. As usual Randle. Keep defending Varsho and Romano.

Blowmano

Didn't watch the game but just looking at Boxscore, hilarious Springer back at leadoff and Davis down to 6th.

DH being pinch hit by another DH

What the hell is going on

If given the choice between “defending” them and posting nonsense with no basis in reality, I choose the former

We have the third worst offense in baseball and are staring down the possibility of two 200 million dollar contracts to keep it together?

I agree that it makes no sense at all. I said last month that if the Jays do not turn it around by July, that there should be no untouchables on the team.

I would seek out offers for Vlad and Bichette, but I do not want Atkins making that decision. I want Atkins fired, so a guy like James Click can be promoted to GM and be able to make those franchise changing decisions.

This can be a very quick rebuild if we sell this year. Berrios, Gausman, Kikuchi, Bassitt are all great pitchers that can net us a really good return (esp Gasuman/Berrios, they are near Cy Young level). Yimi Garcia/Romano from the bullpen can easily net us a prospect, and Bo/Vlad/Turner/KK. We can be the Orioles in 2-3 years if we play our cards right.

Good Pitchers like Romano will have bad outings. However, your job is a pitcher is made much harder when you consistently have no margin for error with this pathetic Jays offense. You are not going to win many games scoring only 2 runs against a solid team like Baltimore.

Why this team insists on having Varsho hitting Second in the lineup is beyond me. Another hitless game for Varsho, and now batting .208 for the year when he should be in the bottom of the order. I am not sure if George Springer has a clause in his contract that he has to hit lead off, but I am puzzled why everyone gets moved all over the batting lineup, but he remains the lead off hitter. Just an absolutely disgraceful offense that lets downs its starting and relief pitchers time after time.

Varsho has the 4th highest WRC+ on the team right now and leads the team in homeruns lol the only player slugging higher right now is Jansen. He also leads the team in fWAR of there were better options to hit higher we already would be doing that lol

Rather see schneider, Bo or vladdy. Fwar/war is context neutral and its not the perfect stat, the highest war doesnt mean thats your best player.

Barger didn't look ready. He'll be back, but I think DV is just here until Votto is ready.

Varsho has gotten 2+ hits only 4 times this season. That's horrendous.

Tyler Alexander has an ERA of 5.54 ranked 429th in the majors and we can't get a goddamn hit off of him through 6 innings!?!?!?

What a f'ing joke!

Blow it up! I've seen enough. :curse:
