Kikuchi and Gausman filing grievances.

Schneider just sitting there watching Pearson get crushed, have no secondary pitch, and blow a 3 run lead with 2 other RPs warm.

Ah, I guess it’s all right to pull him once the 3 run lead is fully gone. Not before that when he had absolutely no command of a single pitch and was getting crushed.

Doesn't really interest me honestly. I'm just a regular poster with a couple extra buttons that I only use if it's absolutely necessary. My job isn't to make people be better posters, it's to remove things that are truly beyond the pale (ie., the good ol' days where Contender spammed the Raptors board with porn or people posted Nazi stuff on the Current Affairs board); whether this board thrives or dies rests with everyone who contributes here, not with me.

Ranger One has made it abundantly clear that he wants to be a terrible poster, and relishes being a terrible poster, and that's his choice. He'll ultimately get banned because mods on other boards feel that being a terrible poster is ban-worthy, but I'm not really a fan of that sort of moderation.

So what you’re really saying is that you are an “elitist”… heh

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but I've already experienced this and can see why Ranger One would be frustrated. I've seen certain posters on this board complain ad nauseum about the same ****, Schneider sucks, Montoya sucks, etc but God forbid someone else complains about something else and suddenly for whatever reason that poster is "horrible."

Some people just want to watch baseball, have a good time and say stupid reactionary **** on a forum. I read through these threads and occasionally someone will post some stats that may mean something, but for the most part in game threads I see no difference between the "good" posters and the "horrible" ones. Everyone is just complaining about something, so it's kind of ridiculous to act like someone is providing more insight than another.

Lol at that 0-2 meatball from Garcia. What an absolute collapse by the bullpen.

Almost like pulling Gausman at 86 pitches after a quick 6th inning with a depleted bullpen wasn’t the smartest move.

What a horrific 0-2 pitch to Teoscar. What a loss. Can we fire the manager after this series like last year?

Even though he throws it really hard, Pearson's fastball isn't a great pitch. It's been his worst pitch on the season. So throwing a bunch of secondary stuff makes sense, because those pitches have been better on the year. Just not today.

It is super annoying we can’t have everything working on the same **** day.

Well, I have literally no idea where I am on that spectrum. But I appreciate the fact that Schad lets it all go.
At the same time, we have lost Hater, vaff, phillipmike, and are getting fewer contributions from CenterCourt and Fairview. Obviously for some different reasons, but it’s natural to remember that standard and wish we could get back there.
Until then, people are free to post and react. No one is being censored. If posters want to be free to call out the Blue Jays for their crap, then posters should be willing to have posters call out other posters for the same. Trust me, I’ve been on the receiving end.

This ump doesn't have a big strike zone, or a small strike zone, he simply has an amorphous and ever-shifting blob where a strike zone might normally be found.

They’re just a decent but flawed baseball team in the end, one that hasn’t really put it all together through 4 months now and probably won’t. Could very well still make the the playoffs because there are a lot of other flawed teams near the same position but I expected better out of this group than this.

I fully expect them to make the playoffs and get Schneidered at some point. But I would also like the regular season to be significantly less frustrating. Just mash some dingers and play some D my guys, let me grill in peace.

I’ve heard that MLB is reluctant to go to the robot zone in the next few years but the decision makers really should sit down and watch a game like this fully in its duration and then make that decision. Both teams have no clue what a strike is.
