At the end of the day, Jose died for our sins and got the Raps to the eastern conference finals. I'll take it.

How does taking steroids get you more games? Ridiculous IMO.

I was reading up fighting suspensions and 10 or so games seems accurate, which means he'll probably get 5 ;P

He's just playing the game the right way. Odor knows a thing or two (or three) about that:

Really? Taking steroids is a premeditated act where you are taking illegal performance enhancing drugs. Hitting someone in the heat of the moment shouldn't even come close to the punishment for PEDs. If Jose was on the one who landed the punch, everyone here would have said what a bad ass Jose is and it was well deserved and he shouldn't get anything.

Let's be honest. People are butt hurt because Jose got clocked. Props to him for not falling like a rock but he was woozy and whoever was behind him looked like he held him up for a second there or he would have went down. He makes his reputation as an intimidator and he ran into someone who he thought would back down. It was cringe worthy as a Jays fan because it wasn't a cheap shot and Jose was lucky players got between them or it really could have been a beat down. Jose is a pretend bad ass but Odor looks like the real deal.

He can take a punch. That was a solid one.

No KO?

Kind of pathetic on Odor part as you couldn't ask for a more clean shot!

I only wish Jose had flipped his bat before taking 1st base after being hit.

Choosing to put something in your body isn't harming others.

Odor straight up assaulted Bautista - Pretty sure if anyone ran into a guy like Odor out in the public and this happened, they'd be happy to see him in cuffs.

With regards to Bautista needing help to stand on his feet? I am not so sure? Looked like he was being held back from potentially retaliating?

Come on now dudes, Jose was going in for a punch too, and was just beaten to it. He wasn't being held up either, but he wasn't going in with good intentions. That wasn't a sucker punch. Odor is just better at punching people in the face than Jose. It happens.

So apparently spikes up is okay for him. But someone taking him out on what would have been a clean slide just last year, is totally not okay?

I just wish we had actually beaten these pathetic clowns and not somehow managed to give them the gift of another one run loss bullpen special. Would make all of this nonsense a lot easier to take.

In other baseball news, Buck Showalter is going to have to go to the hospital to have his 5 hour erection looked at.

He absolutely wanted to be involved with paying Jose back...for throwing a bat.

Hasn't gotten over the anger stage of grieving yet.

Jose wasn't throwing a punch.

Go to a mirror, and throw a phantom punch. Notice that your hand will be instinctively balled up in a fist even before you start moving your hand back. JB never even made a fist.

Maybe it just looks like it in slow mo, and I should probably stop watching my boy get destroyed so much, I am pretty sure a piece of my soul dies each time, but his right arm isn't going back for fun.

Let's talk about Josh Donaldson recreating his cameo on Vikings.

yeah i don't see jose throwing a punch there. maybe more shoving and then drapes until being broken up but jose knows better than to get suspended by throwing a punch first, or even period.
