90 middle middle to Mike Trout is not ideal pitch location.

It's a bit worrying that Bassitt, who gave up fewer HRs than almost any starting pitcher in baseball over the past few years, is currently a launching pad.

Why don’t they just go with old school signs? Pitch com is not a good match for Bassitt with a timer

Signs take longer than pitchcom.

Bassitt looks like he hasn't been able to adjust to the pace of the pitch clock at all. That's both alarming and puzzling for a major leaguer.

They tried so hard to fix the outfield defense but still won't address the bo at short situation.

Who was yelling curveball in the background before he threw a curveball?

Yeah it isn't so much his pitches (they've been awful) but I think the fact he just can't get settled into the pace of play is the worst part.

Why would you throw down the middle just after walking the lead-off guy?

I can't handle Bichette at shortstop. Move this guy to second already I can't take another season of these bricked throws

Well, Bassitt's looking better after those first two batters. Let's hope it was just being a bit shaken from pitch-com not working.

Bassitt hasn't adjusted to shortened pitch time yet. Declining the transmitter was odd, I'd guess to speed up process. This will take time to adjust.

Our only other SS is Espinal, who i) isn't a particularly good defensive SS, and ii) hasn't really hit for the past four months of baseball.
