Yes, a bat only player. And a single gold glove at 1b doesn't change that. But you already know that which is why you aren't citing any defensive value of his or anything and sticking with the gold glove angle.
Vlad's value is always going to be basically entirely tied to his bat. And his bat has been good but not great in every non-2021 season so far; 2021 is the only season where he was top 7 in fwar on the team and this season is looking like more of the norm rather than the exception.
