I'm really puzzled tbh. This team is better than what their record is showing. The grueling stretch from this tough schedule hasnt helped either. The Jays need to take advantage of their weaker schedule coming up heading into all-star break.

I would bet money the players are tired of Schneider...the lineups constant changing. The pitching moves.etc...
Bo said it was a good move to let Montoya go...how does he get to have to say that.
Dont know why people on mlb network were/are still picking us to win the whole thing.Plesak, and DeRoza still think we can...if...
I say not with a rookie manager who is learning on the job.

Are the Jays ever gonna score a run again?

Vlad should be batting 9th at this point. Hes actually a liability with runners on base now with the constant double plays.

I'll never understand how people constantly bitch and complain about managers in baseball. At some point players have to perform. When your supposed ace becomes the worst pitcher in the league and your generational star hitter is average at best, there's nothing the manager can do with lineups or rotations to change that. The players are not performing period. This is not some fast paced team dynamic sport eith various plays that require teammates to work in conjunction with each other. Guerrero can hate bichette and still go out there and clobber home runs. The fact is he's not doing that. It has nothing to do with chemistry or lineups. Guys that are supposed to be performing are simply not performing.

Looks like it's that time of the week again where the manager pulls a dominating starting pitcher for no good reason for a bad bullpen. I'll never understand how people don't constantly bitch and complain about such terrible managerial decision making.

Some truly amazing at bats by Varsho and Chapman there lmao. Just...no words.

Oh and now we have Garcia coming in. This game now has guaranteed loss written all over it.

So the plan here apparently is to take a SP out having his best start of the year at only 87 pitches to bring in a reliever with a 5.64 ERA against the top of the Marlins order in a tie game in the 7th. If we're even lucky enough to make the playoffs, this is gonna happen again and again with this guy.

Wagner is terrible by the way. He didn't even mention Clement was pinch hitting there.

Mayza was the manager's choice with the game on the line and two runners on, not Romano. What a move.

I agree with most of this..but the lineups that proved successful were quickly dismantled.Makes absolutely no sense to me.It wasn,t broken, and they broke it.Instead of seeing what might of happened if they stuck to it longer. No idea what to expect from this team, and at least it would have been nice to expect a consistent lineup, because everything else is a coin toss, and guessing game.

Never in doubt.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

well-done, varshow. a shutout is always good.

this team will hopefully figure things out and start getting hits w risp a little more constantly. baseball can be funny/cruel like that even if you're doing everything right.

still think the FO could be a little more proactive but the expanded wildcard will keep them in contention as long they don't totally bottom out.
