Post#1 » by James_Raptors » Wed Dec 19, 2012 8:09 pm

As of a few minutes ago.
The Toronto Blue Jays are now the favourites 8-)
Interesting note, our odds were 12:1 before we traded for R.A Dickey.

Toronto: 15/2
LA Dodgers: 17/2
LA Angels: 17/2
Washington: 9/1
Detroit: 10/1
Cincinnati: 12/1
Texas: 12/1

The Jays are 3:2 favourites to win the AL East

I'm betting on Arizona, Orioles and Royals tbh.

A month ago the Jays were something like 100 - 1

Wish I had dropped a few hundred on them back then

I was going to mention that and also to put things in perspective, Miami is 100-1 right now.

Washington scares me. 98 wins last year and they've got a lot of young players that stand to be better. Surprised the Tigers aren't there either, Martinez back and Sanchez and Hunter all added to the mix.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

And a certain ace pitcher who won't have to sit and watch his team play. :)

Anyone know how accurate these are in predicting the world series winners, or at least the teams that make the playoffs?

If they wanted to cap his innings, fine, but don't give him his first start of the year until May
