My dog is a lefty and I think Gibbons wrote him in to start tonight against Weaver.

So when are they going to DL Edwin already? Be nice to get another bat off the bench, specifically right-handed, to help end this road trip. Kratz should be the one to come up or bring up another outfielder if Jose is going to continue to play 1B while Edwin is out. I suppose that means Pillar at this point.

Ah, right. Forgot they didn't send down Mastroianni once they claimed Reimold. I suppose there's no real difference between Mastroianni and Pillar. I'd still prefer Kratz if Bautista can now run and play OF in a pinch. We need all the extra offense we can get and Mastroianni is just a body.

3-3 until the All-Star break is probably the best case scenario. At this point, just win a damn game.

Hopefully with Wo1verine making the ST, the Jays can claw their way back into the W column!

Reyes needs to start hitting more like a batting champion and less like Yunel Escobar.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

His batting champion days may be well behind him.

Buck and Pat are very good at making excuses for the Jays. It's almost like it's their job...

Three back by the end of the night, I guess. This season's collapse is getting to be a bad one.
