The 1944/45 Phillies had a Blue Jay as their logo? WTF?

Re: OT - Logo Evolution since 1876
this is pretty cool
one thing i noticed, in the early 1930's, Atlanta Braves and the Cleveland Indians both had practically the same logo. An aboriginal sideways facing face. I bet it must have been hard to differentiate them from the logo alone
another thing, the mets and rockies havent changed their logo at all since their inception.

Funny to see the Twins' handshake logo lasted so long, until 1986 where it looks so out of place among the field. I wish there were more "silly" logos like that instead of half of them being that damn circular shield thing.
