Incredibly, this would be the 5th straight one run loss for this team. They've won every other game this month.

After tonight's loss the Jays are 9-18 in 1 run games. Also its pure proof in the pudding as to why they go no where in the playoffs with this hitting lineup that can't win unless they mash the ball.

I've been sayin this all along this team can't win it all with the hitting that does nothing when the games are close and matter the most. All I see is the same group that got beat by KC in 6 games where the hitting no showed for all but 2 games.

Tomorrow will be 2 losses in a row when they lose to the Asian pitcher. I'd be nice if we had owners who didn't value the budget over winning championships lol!

Amazing call to destroy Saunders' AB as well in the 9th. 5th straight one run loss it is.

Maybe torre should send a memo to the umpires to get their head out of their asses if they don't want players and managers arguing balls/strikes.

The bench consisted of Smoak and an injured Martin.

And the Twins in unsurprising fashion blow the lead against the Sox.

Edit - Perhaps I spoke too soon?

Edit - And the Twins escape the bases loaded no out jam with Ortiz at the plate. Wow. O's win though and we're 2 back.

Well the Red Sox loss is at least a bit of a consultation. Down by 1 in the 9th against the Twins with the bases loaded, nobody out and Ortiz up....and don't end up even tying it. Doesn't make the Jays loss look too bad in comparison.
