The ump massively screwed him that AB against a guy with nasty stuff. He did nothing wrong.

Yes, that first pitch was pretty bad. But still he swing and misses on way too many strikes. Is there a stat tracker for this somewhere?

Our best RP Bass only gets used for 2 outs because of that mistake in usage by Schneider. And now Cimber instead of Romano...

He'll use Romano in a 7 run lead but not a tie game in the 9th lol

I think he was saving Romano for the extra inning situation where you start with a runner on second, and strikeouts are of greater importance.

Idc, You need to advance to 3rd on that throw to first base. That guy is going to throw it back to third base and tag you? Give me a break.

He very well may have been out if he started to run when the throw went to first. And he may have been tagged out if he ran when the ball was hit to third.

Unless you're sure, you can't risk it with Gurriel and Kirk coming up. Maybe with the bottom of the order coming up.

Vlad needed to hit a ball to the right side and he didn't get the job done.

Not in 1 million years. Of course you don’t run into the baseball. When that guy uncorks it to first base, you are scampering. And safe by a Mile

That's fine, but there is no 10th inning at all if Cimber doesn't get the job done in the first place (and he got very lucky in allowing 3 consecutive balls at 100 MPH). If you start managing for future innings, you end up looking like 2016 Buck Showalter soon enough.

You’ve never seen a first baseman make that play before? It happens.

To be perfectly honest, I don’t trust Romano any more than I do Cimber. They’re just different.

6-3-6 double play??? 2 perfect throws.. Honestly, I don’t know. Search it

Anyway, I would’ve beat it ;)
