Love to see Gaby all over the field. Hell put him in the bullpen if you have to lol
If we could keep all 3 catchers we'd be in great shape. Gabby being the best defensively behind the plate, Kirk seeing the ball like no one else (although, has slowed down now that other teams have caught on), and woudl love to see what Jano provides over the course of a full season next yr. Kirk missed some time with a hip injury, which I could see becoming a recurring thing occasionally. With 3 high quality catchers you don't have the Zach Collins-like dropoff that we were experiencing earlier in the season

Interesting, their usage of Kikuchi today suggests he may make the WC roster as well.

I hope not. Don’t trust him in a high leverage situation

Would be putting an awful lot of faith in his past four outings. I'm sure that they'd like a second lefty in an ideal world, but I certainly wouldn't roster him over someone like Pop, who walks no one and keeps damned near everything on the ground.

I take back my pre-season proclamation that Bradley ZImmer will breakout to become Colby Rasmus

If they do, they’re probably just looking at that ridiculous strikeout rate. Hard to imagine them using him in leverage though.

When the Mariners narrow the lead from 7-0 to 7-1, we can bring him in.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
