Will we see a sub .100 player to end a season? That's gotta be a record right?

My boy Zimmer now 4 Ks, batting average 0.119

At least we don't have to see another inning from White if we don't get back the lead.

I feel like Zimmer had money on the game. Not only did he have 4 K's, but what was with him goofily bobbling the ball on the ground in the 6 or 7th inning there, lol.

Moreno playing LF here is the only interesting thing to come out of these games today (until Kikuchi dominates). Suggests to me he's probably going to end up on the WC roster. May also be an indication of what the Jays are willing to do with him next year if Jansen still ends up on the 2023 roster.

I thought White was a decent deadline pickup. I was wrong. He sucks.

What was the point of giving Romano an early inning?

I think they just wanted to give him time out there in an unimportant, non stressful situation. Seems like they're just using bulpen guys whenever since the games don't matter, just to loosen their arms a little.

this entire day has been one dreadful, mindless episode of The Tabby Podcast

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

One thing I appreciated from some of the opponent streams this year was the occasional silence. I don't know what it is about Toronto sports broadcasts, it's the same thing with the Raps, they feel the need to yabber on incessantly and fill every moment with chatter. I don't mind some of the conversation but we could use a bit of a break in the audio from time to time.
