this ump is drunk. 3 pitches not in the zone called strike on springer.

There's no way manoah is the best chess player on the team.

No he just doesn't strike me as the intellectual type. But maybe I'm wrong. I mean he called bassitt gullible in reference to chess skill. I'm not sure how gullibility plays a role in chess.

percieved holes open and close and Bassitt probably falls into a set trap by Manoah lol

Giving up a bit more hard contact than is his norm, but Bassitt looking much more Bassittesque. Do have to wonder whether his struggles were in fact acclimatizing to the pitch clock and/or chilly early-season weather.

Lol yeah maybe. Or maybe everyone else just sucks. Manoah seems like the type to use that opener with the queen and knight idk the term. But it's the most setup for newbies.

I would be more accepting if bo wasn't know for bricking throws. But I always get annoyed when he does that throw on the move like he's Troy tulowitzki. Just play fundamentally sound, plant and throw. But i guess he practices it that way.

For sure, but at that velocity the cup can only do so much. It's still gonna hurt... a lot...
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I didn't hear the boos personally, it was mostly just silent compared to the greeting the other guys received. but maybe they were booing loudly in another section. The only boos I heard was when Detroit came out.

Ump is all over the place doodoo. Kiermaier would've scored on that.
