Umpire missed a blatant strike just before that. Clear makeup call.

Also clearly terrible umpiring.

Yeah, but two pitches earlier he called another ball off the plate as a strike. I assumed the previous one was the makeup call.

Hoping for a good outing from Manoah. With how hot it is today, I know he will be sweating like a dog. Hoping the weather does not affect him too much, and he can at least provide 5 decent innings without being hammered.

Sucks for all of those that had to watch Manoah in person then.

This guy is somehow legitimately the worst starting pitcher in baseball right now.

So how long before Manoah is in the minors?

Schneider apparently said it's "mindset". No way he or anybody else in this organization actually believe that.

The guy is a mechanical mess on the mound.

There's another one for a hit to Toro. He's thrown 80 pitches in 3+ innings now. In addition to being terrible overall, he's also horrific to watch.

That was pretty bad. Looked like Teoscar out there.

This team would be nowhere offensively without Kevin Kiermaier. I liked bringing him in but never knew how much he would be needed.
