Glad to be in a Wild Card Spot, next to the Yankees given how poorly this team has hit the past month. Given how much the Yankees have been banged up this year with injuries, and without Judge who has been injured for 3 weeks and potentially for another month or so; you got to hand it to them also for being in a WC spot given how many of their key players have been out this year.

It sucks a team like the Twins, who are playing in a weak division, and only a game above .500 would be in a playoff position today over other teams that are well above .500. Hopefully, in the not too distant future, MLB would give the top 6 playoff spots to the 6 teams with the best record in the Conference, regardless of the division they play in.

That would require getting rid of divisions. I don't think it'll ever happen.

I could though, see an expanded MLB to 32 teams, and then going back to two divisions per league.

2 division winners plus 4 wildcards makes it a lot more reasonable. Still not perfect though.

Oh my gosh, what? Even if he was tearing up the minors, putting him in a showcase situation like Canada Day is exactly not what you need or want.

Baby him. Let him take as much time as you need until we're confident. Hell, take more time than you think you need.

The last thing that we want is to bring him back early, have him implode, and then have to go all the way back to square one. Sending him down wasn't about the Jays' season this year - it's about helping Manoah improve and regain his form.
