Just saw the news today. They ACTUALLY listed him as Day to Day with "left finger discomfort"???? LMAO! Holy christ this league is soft. We are in the middle of a tightly contested playoff race! Tape that finger up and get back into the lineup ffs! Hockey players out there playing an actual physical sport with broken sternums, broken hands, broken legs, and here we have guys that barely move sitting out because of finger "discomfort". Christ almighty.

He's been pretty ass anyway. What difference does it make if he sits a few games

If you're sitting one of your best hitters this late in the season while also in the middle of a tight playoff race, then you might as well just forfeit the rest of the season and sit everyone. Doesnt matter how ass hes been. Hes still very impactful on the game.

If he's not producing offensively the way we need him to, how impactful is he really? Let's say hypothetically Davis schneider is on a hot streak right now.... and he's generating some power, hitting a home run or 2, and you have vlad who's just going 1 for 4 with soft infield singles and grounding into double plays, who would you rather have out there? I'm not saying Schneider is overall a better hitter, but vladdy isn't doing much... if he's hurt, then maybe let him get healthy instead of having him out there chasing sliders well out of the zone and losing his bat in the process because he can't grip it properly.

Schneider has been WAY better at the plate than Vlad in the month of August.
