Would love to see us take at least 8 of the next 9. Two sweeps and a win would be ideal. (And yes, incredibly difficult)

what do you guys believe is an acceptable outcome over these next 9 games against the three worst teams in the league? Obviously 9-0 would be ideal, but given our lack of hitting and inability to put it together over an extended stretch all season long i will say that 6-3 is the BARE MINIMUM to stay alive. Anything less than 6-3 and you can officially kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Oakland worries me. i never have a lot of faith in the Jays beating them.

seattle pulling out all those close wins is unbelievable. and houston suddenly playing with passion. there's just no way to justify the jays getting in ahead of either of them.

Need to go 7-2 next 9 games, 6-3 at worst.

lol i was bout to say. Anytime i see a complete scrub like this on the matchup card, i immediately think shutout or 1 run allowed against us.

The 2023 Jays are certainly the wrong team to do that.

5 outs on 10 pitches against a 7 ERA pitcher. Disgraceful stuff.

Yeah 6-3 wont even move us closer by a game. If anything, with how Houston and Seattle have been playing, 6-3 will actually see us drop back a game or two lmao. In all seriousness, we actually DO need to go 9-0 against these trash teams to make up any ground at all.

Seattle 8-2 last 10
Houston 7-3 last 10.

So yeah. Its 8-1 or 9-0 or season over.

Depends on what Texas does really. The other two probably will do that.

Its ok. Im sure by the 2nd or 3rd time through the lineup our hitters will adjust. We've just never seen this guy. Our guys need time to see his stuff.

6-3 we gain ground on somebody -- not all 3 teams ahead of us are going to go 6-3 or better. That's the good being behind 3 teams - we only need one to slip.

That being said I set 7-2 as the "satisfactory" level if we want to really improve our chances.

Defensively, seems like Schneider and Clement can handle the duties of Bichette and Chappy.

Still not sure what DeJong offered. We didn’t need the defense. Basic left side fielding is not that hard.
