Another big game from biggio between a really good defensive player and getting a couple hits including that one in the 9th

Hope that walkoff gives them SOME kind of mojo going into that Yankees series.

Thank the Baby Jesus that Chapman ended this. With Trevor Richards coming up in the 10th, it did not look good. Hopefully Chapman has a great series in New York, convincing the Yankees to lock him up for a 5-6 year deal at 25 million annually in the off-season.

As you can see from what happened after the Texas series there is no such thing as MOJO. We just swept Boston and Texas just got swept by Cleveland.

Really nice moment for Chapman there after getting benched. This team's pitching has been doing the Lord's work lately. 12 games left all against the Rays and Yankees for the playoffs. As horrendous as they've been they are right there.

It took 3 days after the sweep and 2.5 back to overtake the Rangers again and get back into WC2? What the ****?

I know, but theyve looked dead, listless for that entire Texas series and for most of this series tbh. Maybe a walkoff win gives them a bit of confidence? I dunno, its a stretch given how putrid this offense has looked for weeks now. But heres hoping we can wake up for a couple of 10 run games soon.

Biggio is also kind of perplexing as a hitter. He obviously has a good eye, and has a really smooth swing. Not sure why he's never been able to put it together at the plate.

If they go 7-5 in that stretch, they probably make it.

Tough man. Rays for 2 series is not good for us. Rays score a ton of runs.

He can't hit high velocity.

So the Dodgers did play a ghost lineup today but it isn't stopping them so far.

Key is to do well against the Yanks.
I'm thinking 89 wins (6-6) could well be enough to get in as one of Seattle/Texas will struggle down the stretch. Wouldn't want to test that number either ,,, and of course we need to go 6-6.

LOL Dodgers up 4-0 already!

Fangraph Playoff Odds started at 79%, went down to 34%, and are now all the way back up to 76% as of the current minute.
What a wild ride.
