Not a good time for Swanson to fall off a cliff.

That 0-2 pitch to Stanton should have been absolutely destroyed too. This is as bad as Swanson as looked this year.

Happened to him in September last year too, which is why Seattle didn't use him in the playoffs.

Easy win. Just keep holding teams to 1 run or less and in the world series.

If Michael King's dominance is any indication, just wait until Gerrit Cole and the Rays are through with them.

Not excited to face Cole tmr. But getting 2/3 here was huge. 6-4 to end the year and they're in as far as baseball goes can't ask for much more than that.

Rays lost which at least assists in those games at the end having no meaning for them.

I’d like to see them handle Cyrus starting those series threads. They aren’t ready.

He's been so bad this year, that even if he's out for the rest of the year, it makes no difference (but I doubt it's anything major).

And so it begins. He wouldn't be the first overweight player to have premature knee injuries.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Good win. But please get rid of the Rays Rob Manfred. Launch the franchise into space or something

It doesn't though, because Baltimore also lost.

What we need is for one of them to get a sizable lead on the other. It doesn't *really* matter if it's Baltimore or Tampa that gets the lead, as long as it's out of range by the last series of the season.

It does as they’re still 3 games back in the loss column with something like 10 games to go, which is a fairly sizeable lead. If Baltimore has a decent week here, there’s a fair chance some or all of those last 3 don’t matter at all.
