GT: Blue Jays @ Yankees - Sept 19 - Sept 21

Post#1 » by Cyrus » Tue Sep 19, 2023 8:53 pm

Alright suckas, after last series, you can't doubt Cy's game starting abilities. Even with the jays running bases sloppy, looking at ways to throw the game, they couldn't overcome Cy. We had Vladdy hit a HR in 3 games a row, he had 3 HR in all of august, we had Bos Center field forget how to play CF and totally miss judge a ball, walk off winning run by slumping Whitt, and then followed by walk off by Chapman who hasn't hit since Early May. What more can you ask for?

Now we go on the road to play the surprising better playing Yankees who will cherish the role of playing spoilers. It should be interesting series, one thing you can count on besides Cy taking this team to the playoffs, is more whining and crying from Randal regarding the Jays.

First game is today at 7:05pm - Discuss suckas!

Easy sweep. Vladdy will have another 3-HR game against them. We're about to heat up and roll to the WS.

Time for another night of 2023 Blue Jays-related torture.

You almost have to apologize for a home run hit to right field at Yankee stadium. Kind of like when a tennis player clips the tape for a point.

Incredibly strong running effort from Vlad on that ball.

Its ok. He was very "jammed" according to buck. No need to run hard there.

It was actually pretty bizarre that Buck didn't call him out for not running there. He's safe (or at the very least, it's a bang bang play) if he runs hard for sure.

No clue what the hell he was doing there.

He probably got reprimanded by Rogers for calling for Vlad to be benched during that Texas series. Hes not abiding by the Yesman protocols as set out by his superiors.

Damn. Kikuchi already getting hammered. We might actually have to score some runs this series. Not looking promising.

Kikuchi getting crushed on hanging sliders. No way we'll score enough to keep this close at this rate.

If you ever need a thought to warm your soul, the Yankees have 4 more years, 4!! of Giancarlo Stanton!

A serious team would bench him for it.

Chapman throwing balls into the dirt for no reason. I miss Biggio.
