GT: Yanks @ Blue Jays - Sept 26 - Sept 28

Post#1 » by Cyrus » Tue Sep 26, 2023 6:52 pm

You welcome Suckas - What should been a sweep of series against our likely playoff opponent, only to be undone by our manager, and some cracked/broken nails. Cy's good, but he can't over come baffling decisions. But you did see Vladdy hit 2 Home runs in a game and when was the last time he did that this season.

Now we got the Yanks again but this time at home, but this time in good wild card positioning to close it out and clinch it potentially by the end of this series. What can we expect, well i'm sure we'll hear more whining and crying about everything jays related.

Game 1 Tonight - 7 pm Discuss Suckas!

Bring on the pain. I wonder how many strikeouts King and Cole will have this time against this meagre lineup.

Can't get swept here. Houston got swept by the Royals, so anything can happen.

Weak Yankee lineup. Pitch to contact. Let’s not get too cute here.

Gausman with 30 pitches in the 1st inning against this scrub lineup. Not what you want to see.

Better not see a 5 pitch inning for King now. These guys need to give Gausman a breather here and not flail at every pitch.

He should be able to settle down. I’m not worried yet.

Not good. King is hitting spots and gets a bit of help from umpire.

Not happy with these at bats already. Did these guys not have a SERIOUS team wide film session on King after their last pathetic performance against him? Where are the adjustments?

Is Malachi Moore the ump who followed Pete Walker to the mound earlier in the year to spy in on the conversation after missing a bunch of calls.... and Walker ripped him.

The one and only.

Wouldnt surprise me if he has a vendetta.

Another bad call. Most of these guys are still intimidated by the Yankee ethos.

would be nice if we could spot Gausman a few run lead for a change. All his starts seem to be super stress ones. Cant be good for him.
