Even if jays win, if Astros win, it's still twins.

At chase field, the Astros have a 8-0 lead against Arizona in the bottom of the 7th. Barring a collapse from them they will win the AL West again.

Mariners just beat the Texas rangers 1-0 at home. They will be the 2nd wildcard team and will face the rays.

If we beat the twins, the Astros are next.

Let's go for the comeback and celebrate on field! Feels weird to celebrate a clinch after a loss. Too bad we tanked so hard.

The AL sucks.

We have a real path.

Our path in the playoffs this october will be

Twins
Astros in the ALDS
One of the Orioles/rays/rangers in the ALCS
National league champion in the world series (braves and dodgers most likely)

Time to face a team that hasn’t won a playoff game in nearly 2 decades!

I expect us to pull a run a la Phillies last playoffs. We are the darkhorse/sleeper threat of this year.

This season was sure...something I think it being not super satisfying WC clinch is good in a way the expectations for this group and franchise are higher than ever.

But at the end of the day baseball is a sport where 110+ win teams lose in the first round and in 06 the 83 win Cardinals won it all. Anyone can win it and that's all you can ask for. Big shout out to Belt and KK 2 guys that were unbelievable and such cheap signings for us. This team has a chance to make all the pain of this season a long forgotten memory if they can make a deep run and I think with their pitching and defense and the ceiling of the offense they really can.

Given how bad Jats offense at home, it's better they play away against Minny weakest out of the 6 teams in AL
