That 8th inning should haunt these guys until next Season. Leadoff double...7 pitches later inning over.

It might be all over by Wednesday (or is that a positive for some!)

And Schneider wasting the pen will likely cost them tomorrow or Thursday (in the unlikely event they make it that far).

I was convinced Bo was fine as he turning third.
Correa really got that one home quicker than I expected.

Palate cleanser.

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Watching Jose Bautista and JD hit HRs on fastballs is likely to just make me hate this team more.

Let me find the Kawasaki homer off Sherzer to really piss you off then.

If we lose tomorrow and we don't immediately announce the start of the James Click era, I might be done with this team for the foreseeable future.

i didn't really care about that as much as the Jays couldn't generate any offense at all.

something needs to be done here but i don't think there is an answer for the offense.

- maybe Schneider comes in and plays 2nd ... i.e. hit better when getting some fielding works for some... playoff magic... OR Merriweather comes back. or maybe both in the lineup as 2B and DH respectively.

we need (a) sparkplugs.
motion while hitting.
throw in the kitchen sink.

The entire game shouldn't hinge on that one play. We had plenty of opportunities to score, and squandered all of them, as we've been doing all season.

I don't think Bo runs particularly well as it is this year, especially coming off his leg injury.

Still, he scores there unless Correa throws an absolute strike to the catcher across his body while on the run in the same motion as picking the ball up. Such a tough play.

Kawasaki was a home run that tied a game against Baltimore apparently. It was so surprising the tale must have grown in the telling.

You'll be back. And so will Ross and the gang.

We'll do this whole exercise again next year.

That was also in 2013. Also to maintain a 9 game winning streak at the time.

What a player.

The biggest issue for this team is the lack of the long ball. Would be nice if we got a run or two via the home run instead of having to scratch and claw for every single run.

When a guy like Greg Maddux loves throwing first pitch strikes, as a hitter perhaps reconsider your strategy.
