Well him and his coaches after running through scenarios, and that he craves information. I'm sure there was analytics khakis in play, but seems like dude is over his head, based on the last 2 playoffs, doesn't surprise me (Seattle disaster and Minny pulling).

Yeah, that's what is called a lie after he kept his job.

His true honest response was in the immediate aftermath.

So you think it was Ross/Co that insisted or there was analytics, that said he should have bring in Jordan Romano in the 7th or whatever in Seattle game?

I'm not arguing that The higher ups wants a "Collaborative" voice from above, other john gibbons would be still coaching this team. But either way he's in over his head, like he has too much information.

I think they very clearly had a plan pre-game to bring Kikuchi in at that point in the game and Schneider was not going to go against that plan for fear of losing his job.

The identical thing happened with Montoyo in 2020 with Shoemaker/Ray.

As far as him being a good manager overall or any other instances outside of this particular scenario, my opinion about him has not changed. He's not good.

100% on all counts.

Schnieder’s a bit of a dim bulb. It’s a little strange, too, when you consider the sheer size of his head! :-o :P

He only got the job because he escorted our “superstars” through the minors. There was some sort of comfort level that the front office deemed valuable.

Edit: Matt Chapman certainly wasn’t impressed with his managerial abilities.

No one has been fired yet is proof

- Shapiro don't care
- Owners don't care
- Casual fans don't care

as long as the revenue keep trucking in

I have not believed in this organization since AA got fired. And Gibby was the best manager we've had in the past 2 decades
