It's a shiiitshow I tell ya. Of course, they all knew the plan. lol. they just dont want to admit it was a mistake. no accountability with this front office. Bunch of losers.

Other than the obviously comical communication issues and complete lack of accountability, we did have some posters here saying that starting Berrios over Kikuchi meant the Jays weren't a serious baseball team and some stuff like that prior to the game. Like, the idea of pitching Kikuchi was not a bad one...right up until Berrios was pitching like Greg Maddux. How do your plans not change? A single walk to their best hitter is hardly a terrifying turn of events.

What a slime ball. I believe both the manager and Atkins pointed the blame at Shapiro and the expensive analytics department. He in turn thinks we’re all idiots and Schneider made that call not the nerds. He even insinuated Berrios was an issue in the locker room, the nerds will never wear it.

That would be 4 managers in 6 years. Schneider job is to take responsibility for what the FO planned and Atkins was scolded today.

So then Schneider didn't do his job, as he directed the blame at management. Thus my question: why has he not been fired?

This isn't all that complicated, you have multiple people all telling different stories to deflect blame from themselves. You would expect the people with the power to fire the other people to do that.

CYA is the first thing you learn in the corporate world. Still want to know who is responsible for their analytics. Not discussing this aspect in any detail suggests poor understanding.
