Braindead decision by Springer there. Could lead to a monster inning for the Rays now. Its never easy with this team.

Is it just me or did Springer not play that fly ball well. (the Deep Fiy not the short looper)

Seemed like he gave up on it early, and decided to stop and play it off the wall. i think he would have caught the ball if he just kept going for it. Of course its 6-1 (or was 6-1), so don't want to crash into walls either.

Fairly sure both plays would have been outs with either Kiermaier or Varsho.

Probably should score more runs so that Trevor Richards isn't pitching with the game on the line soon

The most it could have theoretically cost us was one run (and that's without knowing what will happen afterwards), because the guy with a hit is at 2nd instead of 1st. Or the lead runner is stuck at third But it can't cost 2 runs, because that would require an additional Tampa hit... where the lead runner scores either way.

In the end, it probably cost us a run. Pinto probably gets stranded.

Should be safe to even use Pearson now, although maybe not Parsons

Huge bounce back inning that "should" lock this one down.

He's throwing the changeup slower now? Why would Richards alter the only pitch that is keeping him in the majors at all lol
