A minor miracle were 4-6 and not 2-8.

Gausman, Bassitt, and Kikuchi are all in their mid-30s. Not exactly prime years. Decline was inevitable.

The team-building philosophy of this FO is to sign aging vets while ignoring the need to develop prospects. This is the end result.

Let’s be honest, this era’s best window to win was 2021 when Springer was still an elite player and Semien/Vlad/Ray were putting up career years. They wasted it with a joke of a manager and they’ve been chasing a team as good as that ever since with worse players.
One flew east, one flew west, one flew over the cuckoo’s nest.

Wait until you see Vogelbac.

This team feels a lot like last year (if not worse) and you can thank management for that. They did nothing to change that.

Team building is trade prospects while still shiny for mid-tier players, and sign aging vets to patch holes due to lack of farm depth

If they were so good, we would have won the game. These scrubs haven't earned it. Once they start hitting like our regulars (who have more than earned their place in the lineup), we can talk about getting them regular ABs.

I am assuming that you are joking. Clement has been legit going back to last year and Schneider has done nothing to not get regular AB's until proven otherwise.

Employing your logic would also preclude our "regulars" all being benched as well. Which one of our regulars is hitting?

Yankees reliever, Jake Cousins is the cousin of Kirk Cousins.

When he faced Alejandro Kirk yesterday that resulted in the following being true:

(Alejandro) Kirk facing Cousins who is Kirk Cousins' cousin.
