Nothing better than a picture perfect double play to end a game. It's fun to watch this team play defense when the bats aren't scoring 1 run a game.

Why is Manoah even with the team right now instead of working in the minors? We really need another cheerleader sitting on the bench?

He's pitching in Buffalo Saturday which is probably why he's around plus more "injury" rehab.

Good win for the Jays, even if it got a bit scary at the end though.

But oh my gosh, that first inning error. Vlad's lack of hustle nearly turned that error into an out.

is this for real? Atkins thinks the wildcard embarrassments are at the level of 2015/2016?

It was a blessing in disguise when the Jays had offered 100 million to Chapman early in the off-season for 5 years, and Scott Boras had turned it down. It would have been a horrific signing for the next 5 years, and thankfully Atkins was saved by Matt Chapman and his agent thinking they deserved more (lol).

IKF for all his faults will do what Chapman contributed as far as defense and base running go. Plus Chapman was basically a IKF level bat post April last year anyways.

Pretty crazy how him and JT are currently leading the team in fWAR right now. Tho IKFs .435 BABIP will surely plummet down lmao

Yet Atkins and his brilliant analytics, still.offered Chapman 100 million which he thankfully turned down (lol). Chapman was atrocious with the bat after the first month, and San Francisco fans are seeing what we did first hand.

Man, the top of our lineup has got the be the worst in all of baseball. 3 of the easiest outs in all of baseball. Always setting the worst possible tone for the entire game and the horrid example of the guys behind them.

LMFAO @ our top 4 OPS leaders being a 39 year old DH and 3 platoon guys. Springer, Guerrero, Bichette, Kirk, Varsho and KK need to look themselves in the mirror....very very closely. This is actually embarrassing.
