Despite KK's abysmal start, I have a bit more patience than average due to what he did last season.

However, just a bit. He should be at least platooned at this point. Get Schneider/Clement more starts.

It's a snail pace for management to veer off any kind of preconceived strategy.

I think we've just been spoiled seeing some great hitting teams over the past decade. Even in the years leading up to 2015, Bautista and EE kept the offense entertaining. And then this core really showed us what they could do offensively in 2021. So it just feels jarring to see a team where there's a lack of power and consistent offense.

It's especially tough when you see lineups around the league being so lethal and consistent.

A big part of it has been Vladdy. He was supposed to be our Acuna, Tatis, etc. But he definitely hasn't lived up to the hype and remotely come close to the top players from his generation. Sucks because his exit velocities and plate discipline are both elite, but just feels like his actual production is less than the sum of its parts. But you just know if we give up on him, he'll suddenly put it together for another team and start dominating lol.

Sad to see how good this starting rotation and bullpen can be, yet we can't score any runs for them. Atkins has done a poor job of acquiring talent and players who can hit. That's all on him if you ask me.

As for Vladdy, he has been a huge disappointment. No idea what is going on in his head. Someone needs to fix his swing and his head. Maybe a change in scenery would be good for him.
