To be fair I don't know if management has left him the capability to come up with lineups that will score many more runs. Its hard to polish a turd. Our bats sucks.
That being said his job is to improve our run probability with the limited offensive roster we have. And he sucks at that. His bungling of the Vogelbach situation in the 6th inning on Wednesday was atrocious.

Something is needed to shake this team up. It's far too early to give up on the season. But if they put up with another month of this dreck, it will be too late.
