Re: OT: Daily Thoughts
I wonder what kind of value the Nuggets could get for that Knicks pick in a trade right now? it is looking like top 5 is a possibility, but if they could get an upgrade at Center from McGee, that would not break my heart.

Since this draft is reportedly one of the best ever, I think it's a must keep pick.
Really want Wiggins though, we're a good SG away.

Re: OT: Daily Thoughts
It depends on what you think the Knicks do from here on out, if they find a way to make changes and move up the pick is just okay, if they continue on their current course the Nuggets get one hell of a pick.
Personally I have only watched a few minutes here and there of Wiggins and am not really sold on him being the best prospect, I think I would rather have Randel or a big center.
My question on the value though is say you could trade the pick and say Foye and Anthony Randolp for OJ Mayo and john henson from the Bucks, would you do it? What if it was the picks plus filler for OJ and Sanders from them?

I would not like to see wiggins on this team. He cannot shot outside and is a very raw player. I would like to see us draft. He is 6.6 and is a n explosive guard that can play pg/sg, his game is similar to Westbrook and his Australian like me!

You know it is funny, Felton has only missed 3 or 4 games, yet that is his excuse for them being 3 and 10?
I am telling people things are looking bad in New York, and with the built in excuse of the injuries and the horrible state of the eastern conference, Woodson may keep his job and convince the owner/front office staff to hold off on any moves until he has a couple of weeks after Chandler gets back.
Meaning that pick is going to be looking awful good by December.
"I don't think I have lost the locker room," Woodson said during his weekly spot on "The Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show" on ESPN New York 98.7. "I don't think I have lost players from an individual standpoint. What I have lost is a Tyson Chandler and a Raymond Felton, that is what I have lost from my starting team.
"And I don't know if you can go on any roster and take two starters out of their roster and they still survive," Woodson added. "They might play in spurts like we are doing today. I am not making excuses, but I would sure love to take my chances with Tyson and Raymond in my lineup."

If we got lucky and got a high enough draft pick, I would take Parker over Randle and Wiggins. Randle is basically Zach Randolph and will get identical production.
Wiggins is so raw and I hate that everyone compares him to Lebron James. I also don't like his "Maple Jordan" nickname, way too much pressure to put on a kid.
The game comes way too easy for Parker, it's almost like he's bored and still getting 20/10.

anybody here regret trading nene for mcgee? been watching a few wizards games and it struck me how well nene is still playing. would he have had this success in the nuggets offense? i don't know, but assuming the knicks keep losing, and we're prying for a bigman in the draft, how long will mcgee be here?

Nene is playing well this week, but he has been up to his same way in Washington as he was in Denver, taking weeks of not playing real hard, nursing injuries, and such. The mistake was not the trade, but in giving McGee that long of a contract.

Does anyone wonder how Shaw would go if he had last season's roster?
I will say I had a thought if we should have gotten Brett Brown but Shaw's ability to develop players is evident.

I would trade Gallo/Faried/2015 1st round pick.
For
Waiters/Varejao/2014 1st round pick.

That is terrible for the Nuggets, Waiters is not a good player, Varejao is always injured, and Gallo + Faried will help move that pick out of the lotto in the Eastern Conference.

Another Nuggets win, and Knicks loss, not a bad way to head into thanksgiving.

Re: OT: Daily Thoughts
i feel like this team is out-executing the opposition now, and they're understanding it and getting better at it every night....whereas last season they seemed to simply out-hustle & outwork the other team.
not that the latter is bad in the regular season, just that it only goes so far in the playoffs given that every team is going 100% at that point.

Re: OT: Daily Thoughts
Its amazing watching these guys play with what seems like a coaching system with structure and focus. I'm loving it. I get the feeling every one of our guys is buying into Shaws system. Ty looks like he's benefitting the most. Can't wait for the Knicks game, won't be able to watch live tho

Re: OT: Daily Thoughts
Assuming the likely hood of drafting one of the SGs/SFs, do we offer Hamilton an extension before/after the season ends?
