That was a good win against a very good team. They stepped up on defense when they had to.

It's not every day that both your guards go for 20-10. AC was absolutely huge, and AI had a solid game. I think that's now 18 straight wins when AI has 10+ assists.

Melo was good for 32-11. He's been crashing the offensive glass harder than I've ever seen him.

And what more can you say about K-Mart? He was solid on Dwight Howard.

Neat-O Stat of the Night: Since Charles Barkley said that Melo wasn't a rebounder, Melo's been averaging 27.6 points and 10.4 boards a game. Still think he's not a rebounder, Chuck? 8)

corona: Wait, what? You're the one saying you watch every game twice? And you wrote such a nonsence? Turk was 3-15 on Melo? Really? And you already forgot all of these easy baskets by Mo Evans and Rashard? Watching just numbers is useless, you shoulda know

yes.

evans is shooting like 25% from 3 this season. shoot away young man.
melo rarely if ever guarded lewis.

got his head turned maybe twice this game and was burned for easy buckets. happens to iverson, martin, and even tim duncan once in awhile. hardly a reason to call him unprofessional. he had 10 boards, many defensive, and guarded turk very well.

with all the talk of privacy and stuff I have to wonder if Nene has an std or something. that or he's pregnant like in that movie "junior". you know, the one where the governor of california becomes the first man to become pregnant?

Um...yeah. Great game :D

Yeah there were a lot of nitpicky things, but for an overall performance and result that was a very decent effort by the Nuggets.

That's 4 of the last 5, that's 80% in 2008.

Here's to hoping Nene will be ok.

I'm super worried over this Nene thing.

What could it be?

I have been wondering that myself. It sure was reported in a strange way, kinda like they knew but wanted to be hush about it for some reason.

They also said that Hunter was available if needed, and I was wanting to see him get some burn, but he rode the pine instead.

Nice win though.

I honestly think its... lets not say life threatening, but life changing. It just seems so weird and its nothing normal if they're all hush about an injury. I mean what can it be.

Yeah this Nene thing has kinda put a damper on the solid win tonight. Hopefully it is nothing serious cause I was really hoping to see our big 3 upfront healthy and playing together.
