All this kid does is play with heart. He does whatever the team needs from him and although he can get passive at times, I can't see that happening with your current team. I mean who else will now be your #1 or #2 option on offense? This kid when used right will become a star. He was my favorite player on the Knicks as soon as I saw him play. I'll probably be on this board a bit just to discuss about Gallo, hope you guys don't mind. I think if he hasn't had his heart torn out by this trade, because he truly loved New York, than you guys will certainly become fans of him quick. He plays so smart, if he shot isn't on that night he'll get to the line, and vice versa. If he has a bad scoring night in general he'll get 5-6 assists, 7-9 rebounds. Once he puts it together where he can actually do all that WHILE having a good scoring night he'll become the star I know he can be. I hope you guys enjoy him as much as I did. Anyways, I'll really miss him and I'll be watching a lot of Nuggets games unless you guys trade him to the Nets. Hope to see you guys around and to get to know you. Gallo is my favorite player but the Knicks will always be my team. Enjoy Gallo!

You don't know it now, but this kid is going to blow up into a real star. He easily scores 17 a game on 4-5 shots. One of the most efficient players I've seen in a long long time. Really sad to see this kid go. Enjoy

he does play, and you guys may like him. but he is inconsistent as well.

The Inconsistency I always believed was a product D'Antoni's system. I hope Karl and Dantley instill some better habits in him to polish his game.

I endorse the OP. He's fantastic, a warrior, and only 22. He's a bit inconsistent, but if he gets any sort of consistancy, he's an all star.

Share the sentiments. Great defender, flops well, great outside shooter, gets the fans up, plays with heart, never complains about not getting the ball. He was a great player for us and I wish him the best. One of my more favorite Knicks in a while. Has a hell of a fake for a 3 pt shot, you will like it. Also when he drives the ball inside, he is very talented too.

In fact you will like all the guys, even though who knows if you keep them or give them up to the snake Prokorov.

Wilson Chandler improved his defense this year, has never been a problem minus a marijuana arrest, has improved each yet and plays good D. Good shooter and when he is feeling it, he feels it. Might cost alot to whoever gets him in the summer but I cannot say a single bad thing on Wilson.

Felton is a warrior. Played 40-42 mins a night. More heart than Billups will ever have probably. Great swap by you guys overall. He is very quick. Will make a silly pass every now and then but you guys will like him a lot if you hang onto him.

Mozgov I am not as high on as other Knicks fans are but the past 1-2 weeks he has showed alot of light and promise. Never caused a problem, when he was confident and believing in himself, he showed alot of talent. Good piece to have for you guys but again he might be gone to New Jersey.

The prize with most potential is Mozgov. This kid has alot of potential. Wilson Chandler probably won't stick around. He is looking to get paid next year. Nuggets should keep Felton and ship Lawson instead.

He's alright. He can shoot and get to the line, but he also disappears too often.

He was severely underutilized under Mike D'Antoni.

THIS +100!!! Good Luck, he's a good kid, but his back will be his undoing, he takes a lot of hard hits/falls, very ackward at times. One hard hit and he's average at best for the rest of his career! Of course, you guys will have to overpay to keep him, cause he is out of Dencer first chance he gets. He loved NY, like Chandler, he's gone as well, no one wants to leave NY once they get a taste of the big apple, even with all the drama and stress!! I'm cool with Denver and its fans, but the owners can go somewhere for playing these games and trying to "Fake Hustle" us. Best bet is to try to trade some of these new players for players who want to be there and I think you will see that happen before the trade deadline. I wouldn't mind a Knicks/Nuggets Championship in a couple of years, just for the drama, it would rank up there with the biggest championship series in all of basketball!!!

Congrats guys! You will finally see for yourselves that this silly notion that Gallo is some soft european jumpshooter that plays no defense is absolutely ridiculous. He will show you the whole package at times, the issue for him is putting it altogether. You guys in Denver are going to love this kid.

Yes. Mozgov is the one guy that I'm upset about losing. He's also apparently one of the two guys the Knicks really really didn't want to deal (Fields being the other).

I like the potential of Mozgov, he runs the floor well for a big man, which is some that GK likes.

It is kinda sorta hard to make a welcome thread at the moment for any of the guys that the Nuggets received in this trade because we have no clue at the moment if they are going to be sticking around for a while :lol:
