Gallo's future!!

Post#1 » by whackedboy » Mon Apr 28, 2014 6:45 pm

What do u think could be Gallo's future? He can be a potential all star or only a good european player? I hope he will be back soon after his injury

I think he kind of is what he is. We're 5 years in and I don't see a tremendous difference in him now vs. the past.

What's the minimum you would take in trade from Charlotte for Gallo? Or is there anything from Charlotte that could get it done, I'm just trying to gauge his value to Denver. Thanks.

Denver may take a top 5 pick for Gallo, but other than that I do not see them dealing him, his value is at an all time low, and will go right back up once people remember how good he really is.

Yeah, I'd agree trading him right now would be foolish, but after he returns, I think he'll be coming back o top form...and would you really WANT to trade him then ? If you could get a top 5-8 pick I would think about it, I've never thought Gallo could be/would develop into a dominate type player, more of a Danny Green type.

Gallo was considerably better than Danny Green prior to his injury, and was statistically the Nuggets best player on both offense and defense in 2012-2013 just prior to his injury.

As for being a truly dominant player, no he will more than likely never be that, but he is much better than a 4th starter on a good team.

Gallo IS better than Green, but both are of the same mold: good players capable of taking over games, yet never do on a consistent basis.

Would you guys consider the 7th pick + Nash + future 2nd for Gallinari+ Fournier?

Take Randolph too and I think I would. Nash expires and could be bought out, deal gives the Nuggets two lotto picks in a solid draft. I'd want more salary shipped out in other deals.

Well, Nash is on his last leg and Fours is still on his rookie deeal which gives plenty of value. Need a bit more if we're taking on Nash (he a shadow of his former self) , instead of a future 2nd, I'd ask for a future #1 that could be lottery-protected since the #7 is a desirable pick.

I would for sure. To have the 7th and 11th picks would be very valuable in this draft. I'm not really sold on Gallo being able to stay healthy longterm for the Nuggets anyways.

Only thing is, we KNOW that neither Gallo or Fours are NBA busts, can't say that about anyone in this draft..
