Gross. I'm moving the pick for somebody who needs Dunn. I have zero doubt you could get a great return for the top point guard in the draft when there are PG needy teams. I pick Dunn, because he's clearly the most valuable player on the board, but it's to move the pick, not keep him.

Yeah this would be the worst case scenario for me but I agree with MHZ. If Hield/Murray/Brown are off the board, take Dunn and trade him. Maybe move down into the 10-13 range and take Luwawu or Korkmaz?

I know SAC, PHI and possibly TOR will probably have interest in him, Dunn would look good most places, wonder who'd be willing to pay up. I'd still select him as BPA at that point if I could, trade value would still hold strong IMO.

IMO this would be the 2nd best case scenario for DEN. First being Hield available. You get the best Combo PG in the draft who also plays great Defense. It'd be fun to see him compete with Mudiay for starters minutes and also could see him in some Combo guard situations with Mudiay.

If this scenario played out I would be ecstatic.

I think Dunn could be an interesting combo guard to play next to Mudiay. He also isn't so much of a project, which would be nice considering we already have Mudiay, Jokic, Nurkic, and two more possible first rounders who all need to develop. Even though Dunn has played point in college and been very ball dominant, I think he could thrive off of the ball. Playing with 2 point guards could be very hard to defend as well.

Given how this mock falls, Dunn would be the most logical selection. However I don't think I would want a backup to Mudiay at our #7 selection. Now I'm not saying we'll get an immediate starter at #7, but I think there will be players that will eventually be capable of starting for us. Also, with an possible unknown in Nikola Radicevic and so much expected PG talent in the 2017 draft, A Dunn selection would just lead to a trade IMO.

Dunn but I find the premise unlikely because I doubt New Orleans would pass on Dunn. I think Brown drops to 7. Also, I am not sure Phoenix would take Murray here because they are pretty set at the guard position although he is IMHO the best player of the 3-7 group. Would love to see Murray drop to 7.

The Phoenix roster is one reason I think the Nuggets should be able to trade up and grab Murray, the Suns need several positions and if they can pick up a mid 1st and a 2nd they may drop from 4 to 7 especially when that means they could walk away with the guy they need at a good spot.

I've looked it that quite a bit because I think the gap is narrow enough in the 3, certainly 4-7 range that it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg to move up. The problem is that Boston at #3 and Phoenix at #4 are already both swimming in draft picks as well. Maybe a future #1, but I don't see how either would want to pick picks up in this draft.

Good points. I think Conley walks and no way would I give up the Memphis pic. I have trouble with Bender this high (#3); he reminds me of Tskitishvili. I think there is a possibility that Boston either tries to move the #3 pick or crosses everyone up by taking someone other than Bender.

That's true they do have plenty of picks as well, however would you do something like Faried, 7th, and 19th for the 4th and 13th? The Suns need forwards and really do not need more guards, so this would put them in place to get someone like Brown and pick up a starting PF. The Nuggets of course should get one of the scorers.

Now that's a trade that I like - Faried #7 #19 for #4 #13 - and it seems like something Phoenix might be interested in.
